Yesterday, PM had hold one-on-one meeting with Nepra Chairman the theme of meeting was to apprise PM the current pressing issues faced the power sector and consumer of Pakistan.
Important discussions were the regulator’s strategic and effective role to continue with sustainable measures to reduce Circular Debt and the improving the performance of power sector to ensure the affordable energy price to end consumer and sustainable economic growth.
Nepra’s chairman apprised PM about his vision and strategic plans to be taken by Nepra to ensure the reliable and affordable power to people of Pakistan.
Chairman also informed about upcoming Nepra’s interactive approach with stakeholders and organisation of Nepra’s Energy Week -February 24 to 28, 2020 that will cover full day sessions in areas of Generation, Transmission, Distribution and Innovation, event will be attended by power sector national and international stakeholders and participants. Chairman also invited PM for the SAARC Energy Session on March 16, 2020. Thanks
